You only recommend ONE carpet store near me, why don’t you have more stores on your list?
I started building my Preferred Carpet Dealer Directory in 2008. Over the past 13 years, I have found that on average, just 1 out of 10 Recommended Carpet and Flooring Stores are able to pass my special requirements for inclusion in my directory. In some areas, I cannot find even one carpet store that meets my standards.
Sure, I could list each and every carpet and flooring retailer on the planet – like all the other online web directories do… But I only want to recommend the best of the best carpet stores!
- Some Carpet retailers use sneaky sales tactics to try to cheat and deceive homeowners.
- Some use deceptive advertising to lure in unsuspecting shoppers.
- Some retailers recruit strong-arm salespeople who don’t take “NO” for and answer, hoping to “close the sale” before customers have a chance to comparison shop.
After 30+ years in the carpet business, I’ve learned how to spot the bad carpet retailers real fast. I can see right through their disguises, I recognize their sneaky sales gimmicks and I make darn sure they are NOT on my list of recommended carpet and flooring dealers!
Why Do You Only Recommend Locally-Owned Carpet Stores?
I receive and answer hundreds of emails every year. I hear plenty of horror stories from homeowners who bought new carpet from one of the big box warehouse stores like Lowe’s or Home Depot, or nationally advertised shop-at-home carpet retailers like Empire Today.
You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that those ads you see on TV may not be as good a deal as they make it sound. You might need a magnifying glass to read all the fine print.
The sheer number of consumer carpet complaints posted on the internet is mind-blowing. Do a Google search and you will find plenty of unhappy homeowners who were lured in after seeing those TV ads offering Free Carpet Installation and 50% off new carpet and flooring. Please don’t fall for these carpet sales gimmicks.
Buying carpet is a major expense and you deserve a fair and square deal!
That’s why I only support and recommend only a select few locally-owned Recommended Carpet and Flooring Stores. These are your neighbors who have been in business for a number of years, have a good reputation, provide first class customer service have a vested interest in your community.
